The LED neon sign is the modern, energy-efficient successor to the classic glass neon tube, formed into lettering and logos from bendable LED neon flex. It is ideal for shopfronts, shop windows and interior decoration alike, because it is shatterproof, durable and draws significantly less power than traditional neon — for a typical sign the monthly electricity cost is negligible. Any letterform, logo or bespoke graphic can be made from it, in a single colour or in a switchable multi-colour build. Because of the LED technology its service life is many times that of traditional glass neon, up to 50,000–100,000 operating hours, and its maintenance requirement is minimal. Switching is done with a single button or from an app, and no technical background at all is required.
LED neon sign
The LED neon sign is the modern equivalent of traditional glass neon tube lettering, reproducing that characteristic glowing, continuous line with LED technology. We bend the flexible neon flex strip into any letterform, logo or bespoke graphic, then build it into a weatherproof housing and fix it to the chosen surface. Compared with traditional neon it is shatterproof, more energy-efficient and significantly longer-lived. We work with quality LED chips and a stable power supply so that the light stays even for years, without fading or discolouring in patches.

Why LED neon is replacing traditional glass neon
Classic glass neon tube is fragile, requires high-voltage operation, and its gas fill fades over time, which means regular maintenance and replacement. LED neon flex reproduces the same continuous, soft line of light, but is made from a flexible, shatterproof strip with safe, low-voltage operation. Its energy consumption is a fraction of traditional neon's, while its brightness and colour rendering also stay more stable over the long term. Because the strip can be bent, practically any letterform, logo or bespoke graphic element can be made from it, with curved or angular line work alike. That flexibility is what allows a bespoke brand identity to be reproduced precisely, rather than only standard typefaces. Seen from a shop window it stays clearly visible from 2–15 metres, depending on the sizing.
Installation and operation
We build the lettering or logo into a weatherproof housing that can be mounted on a shopfront or a wall and holds up indoors and outdoors alike. Control can range from single-colour, static illumination to a multi-colour build with animated switching, as required. Fitting is adapted to the characteristics of the existing shopfront or facade, either on a support frame or fixed directly to the wall. Because of the low power draw and the long service life, the running cost over the years is significantly lower than that of traditional neon tube lettering; switching can be controlled with a timer or an app, with no technical background required.
Quality and long-term reliability
The life of LED neon is determined above all by the quality of the chip and the stability of the power supply, which is why we work only with quality, tested components. Expected life runs in the 50,000–100,000 operating hour range depending on the build, which means many years of even light even in evening and overnight operation. If a repair should be needed years later, the sectional construction of the strip means only the affected part has to be replaced rather than the whole sign, and we supply the part from regional stock. We give a warranty on the strip and the power supply alike, with the terms set out in the contract.
Typical applications
LED neon sign — frequently asked questions
How much more economical is it than traditional glass neon?
The consumption of LED neon flex is a fraction of traditional glass neon's; the monthly electricity cost of an average-sized sign is very small, which significantly reduces the running cost over the long term.
Can a bespoke logo or typeface be made from it?
Yes — the flexible strip can be bent into practically any shape, so a bespoke logo and a brand-specific typeface can both be realised.
Will it stand up to outdoor weather?
Yes — for outdoor installation we build the sign into a weatherproof housing, with safe, low-voltage operation.
What is the warranty, and how long does it last?
Expected life is 50,000–100,000 operating hours depending on the build, and we give a warranty on that and on the power supply, with the details set out in the contract.
How do I switch it on and set the brightness?
It can be controlled with a simple switch, a timer or an app, with no technical background required, and we give a short demonstration at handover.
What happens if a section fails years later?
Because of the sectional construction of the strip, only the affected part has to be replaced rather than the whole sign, and we supply the part from regional stock.
