Röviden

LED screen hire for Kočevje and the forest region. The panel is 64 by 192 centimetres, 320 by 960 pixels, portrait, standing on its own feet, and up to five link sideways into a single surface. Three versions are indoor and separated only by pixel pitch; two are cabinet-built and sealed, which is what a lakeside or a forest clearing calls for. We charge 75 EUR net for an indoor P2 panel and a day plus the genuine return distance from Győr, and price the others for the booking. Transport, build, picture setup, a free briefing and the collection are all part of that.

LED wall rental in Kočevje — delivery, setup, prices

Kočevje sits in the largest continuous forest in Slovenia, a region of karst woodland that was closed as a military area for decades and now trades on exactly that isolation: brown bears, hiking, and an artificial lake beside the town. Its older layer is the Gottschee German settlement that populated the area for six centuries until the Second World War, a history now interpreted through the regional museum. Modern events here are municipal, sporting and nature-oriented, with a timber and manufacturing base supplying the business side. Venues are the cultural centre, the sports hall, hotel rooms and company premises, none of them technically equipped, and several of the outdoor attractions have no infrastructure at all. Kočevje is 467 road kilometres from our depot in Győr, roughly five and a half hours, the final stretch leaving the motorway for the forest road south.

The run south into the forest

Five and a half hours, with the last part off motorway

The route crosses Hungary and most of Slovenia on motorway before turning south towards the woodland, and it is that last stretch which makes the road distance longer than a map might suggest. The whole journey stays inside Schengen and inside the eurozone, so nothing waits at a border and nothing is converted on the invoice. At this distance we travel ahead of an early build rather than overnight, and the delivery window is settled with the venue when we quote. For a forest or lakeside venue we also confirm the vehicle access before committing to a time.

Kočevje prices

934 kilometres of return route

Driving comes to 467 EUR net on a booking of one day, from 934 return kilometres at fifty cents apiece. The screen is 75 EUR net for every panel on every day at the indoor P2 list rate; the P1.5, the P2.5 and the two outdoor cabinets each carry their own panel figure, agreed before the booking, with this driving line unchanged. Guide totals, net of tax: 542 EUR for one panel over a day, 617 EUR for two, 692 EUR for the square trio and 842 EUR for all five. Extend the trio to two days and it becomes 1,384 EUR, five panels 1,684 EUR, the increase being a second run out and back. A technician of ours present at the screen is 63 EUR net for each day.

Where a nearer supplier wins

A forest road adds kilometres, and they show

One panel for a single Kočevje day is 542 EUR net, and 467 EUR of that is the drive. Ljubljana is an hour and a bit away with a competitive rental market, so for a one-evening job with one screen they will be cheaper, and we would rather write it than argue it later. Our figures work on hires running several days, where the two journeys divide across all of them; on five-panel sets, where the panel rate carries the total; and on events a Kočevje organisation holds in Hungary, where the transport shown here largely vanishes.

Sizing the surface, and choosing the build

Five widths, height always 192 centimetres

Only the width changes. One panel gives 64 centimetres and 320 by 960 pixels; adding panels takes it to 128, 192, 256 and 320 centimetres, with 640, 960, 1280 and 1600 pixels across a constant 960 down. A nature or museum programme usually wants one tall panel, since the portrait proportion suits a single strong image and takes almost no floor. A sports hall event reads better on the square trio. The full row is for a cultural centre stage where a finished widescreen film is the centre of the evening. Where the programme leaves the building — a guided event at the lake, a forest trail opening, a summer fixture on open ground — the width matters less than the housing. Indoor panels have none of the sealing that weather demands; the outdoor P2.5 and P3 have all of it, and they are what we quote for a position with sky above it.
