LED furniture rental for corporate events — networking, bar and meeting corner
At a Christmas party, a client evening or a product launch the furniture is not scenery but traffic management. It decides where the queue builds up, where a two-minute introduction happens and where somebody gets stuck for three quarters of an hour. What illuminated pieces add to the usual is that they mark out a zone and light it at the same time. In a dim loft, an industrial hall or a gala room designed to be dark, that is no small thing.
At a company evening the illuminated standing table is the single most important item: it divides the room and sorts the conversation into groups of three or four. Add a counter for service and one or two lounge islands for longer discussions. The closest of the seven colours to your brand colour can be chosen, but this furniture shows no logo and no moving image. The networking zone: the standing table as conversation manager
A reception works when guests can put down the glass and the plate, because with both hands full nobody can even shake hands. That makes the standing table the most important item, not the seating. Three or four people gather around a top at 110 cm, and that is exactly the group size in which everyone can still hear everyone else. There are two mistakes worth avoiding in the layout. One is putting the tables against the wall: the middle of the room then empties and the whole event is pushed to the edges. The other is spacing them too tightly, so nobody can get between them and a guest is stuck in whichever circle they first fell into. A metre and a half to two metres of clear space between two tables is enough to move.
A brand colour from the seven — and what this is not for
Most clients open with the requirement that the light must match the company colour. The reality: you can get close, but not exact. The palette consists of seven fixed shades, switched by remote control, so you can pick the nearest one — but there is no way to mix a custom shade. Something else worth settling with the marketing colleague in advance: this is not a screen. It has no pixel surface, it carries no logo, no lettering, no moving image and no live feed. If brand content has to be shown, that calls for an LED wall or an LED poster, with the illuminated furniture laying out the space beside it. The two work well together, because the wall carries the message and the furniture the mood. Make that division of roles clear in advance and nobody is disappointed on the day. What the guest perceives on site is the atmosphere, not the colour code.
Product launches and press events
At a launch the job of the furniture is to make everyone look at the product, not at the furniture. So fewer pieces are needed here, and rather at the edge of the audience area: a few tall tables in the back row for those who stay standing, plus a few seats for the press and the crew beside the cameras. One thing is worth agreeing with the video team: a body lit from within reads as a strong, saturated patch on camera, and if it gets close to the speaker it pulls the white balance around. The crew can handle that if somebody mentions it in advance. Once the formal part is over and the programme turns into informal conversation, the pieces can be brought into the space quickly. There is no cabling to re-run, so rearranging is a matter of minutes, not quarter-hours. That counts for a lot when the programme is tight and the break is only ten minutes long.
Christmas parties and galas: the long evening
A company Christmas party differs from an afternoon client meeting in that it runs for eight to ten hours: reception, dinner, awards, then the party. One charge will not necessarily cover that whole arc, because the built-in battery is sized for 6–8 hours of operation. A practical answer is to light only the entrance zone and the bar during the reception, and to switch the dance-floor pieces on towards the end of dinner. The other recurring request is the bar. Put a corner element next to a straight counter element and you have an L-shaped service point; with the storage version the glassware fits under the counter. Do check the venue's house rules, though: many hotels and conference centres specify what may stand on the floor and which route things may be brought in by. It is worth asking the venue contact about this before you enquire.
Take a Christmas party for 120 people. For a standing reception, count 3–4 people per 80 cm top, but since a third of the company is on the move at any time, 18–22 tall tables cover the room — not thirty-five. For a seated dinner a Ø100 cm table takes 4–5 place settings, so you need 26–30 tables. Three or four lounge islands are enough, each seating 3–5 people. At a counter with 150 cm of usable length three or four guests can be served at once, so above a hundred people plan two separate counter stations. Do not let the furnished share go above thirty per cent, or the room stops being walkable.

Is it worth it for a two-hour client meeting?
It is, with fewer pieces. In a short programme nobody sits down for long, so the tall tables do the work and a few seats are enough. The quantity is decided by the number of guests and the floor plan, which we go through after you enquire. In a larger room, use several smaller islands rather than a few big blocks.
Is the light visible in a bright conference room as well?
In strong daylight the effect is more restrained, because the light of the body does not compete with the ceiling fittings. It really comes into its own when the room can be dimmed, or when the programme runs after dark. A windowless loft, a hall or an evening gala gives the strongest effect. Against a darker background the colours also come through more cleanly.
Can laptops and papers be put down on it?
They can — the surface is smooth and closed, with no fabric cover. One thing to bear in mind: the top glows, so thin paper is backlit and coloured light beside a screen can be distracting. For working, a side table beside the armchairs of the meeting corner is the better choice. The height there is more comfortable for taking notes, and the light reaches the paper from the side.
Should we ask for the same thing for a multi-day exhibition?
Not necessarily. Stand use has a logic of its own: there the reception counter and the meeting corner are the two key elements, and the overnight closing routine matters too. Do you send a technician to operate it on site?
No, we do not provide operating staff. Fortunately there is nothing to operate: the pieces have to be switched on and the colour is set by remote control, and that is all. The exact on-site logistics are settled in our written reply. Every piece comes with a remote, and switching on is a single button that anyone on your team can press.
