Why red is the best choice outdoors

The wavelength of red LEDs falls in the range the human eye perceives with the greatest contrast, which is why this colour carries the message furthest in both strong sunlight and twilight. Many shop owners choose the red message sign first precisely for that reason, when the aim is immediate attention – an offer notice, opening hours or simply the brand name. The 16×128 cm size gives exactly enough room for one clearly legible line without taking up too much of the facade.
