Križevci is one of the older towns in continental Croatia, with a royal charter dating back to the thirteenth century, a Greek Catholic cathedral, and a historic festival that reenacts a medieval reconciliation between its two former settlements. It sits between Zagreb and Koprivnica in agricultural country below the Kalnik hills, and the agricultural college here gives the town a technical and educational strand alongside its farming economy. The event calendar runs on that combination: the summer festival, harvest and wine occasions, agricultural presentations and college conferences, held in the cultural centre, the sports hall, hotel function rooms and college facilities. None of these are technically equipped venues. The quote is two numbers. Driving is charged on the whole return route at 50 cents net a kilometre, so 279 EUR net for a booking of one day, and the screen is 75 EUR net per panel per day — the list rate of the indoor P2, with the four other builds agreed job by job and the driving unchanged in either case. Guide totals, net of tax: one panel for a day 354 EUR; two 429 EUR; three 504 EUR; five 654 EUR. Hold three panels for two days and the figure is 1,008 EUR, or 1,308 EUR for five, because a hire beyond one day means the van makes two separate returns. Adding one of our people at the screen is 63 EUR net per head for each day they attend.

Three and a quarter hours, same-day return
The drive crosses western Hungary and enters Croatia on motorway, with a short run off it at the end. Schengen membership means the border needs no allowance in the schedule, and both countries invoice in euro. At 279 kilometres a one-day booking is a same-day round trip: the crew leaves early, has the set standing before the room fills and is home that night. That keeps the transport to one journey rather than two, and removes any preparation day or overnight from the quotation entirely.
Sizing the set, and choosing its housing
Five widths, one constant height
Width rises 64 centimetres at a time while the height stays at 192. One panel is 320 by 960 pixels; three make a square of 192 by 192 centimetres at 960 by 960; five reach 320 centimetres and 1600 by 960 pixels, which takes widescreen video without cropping. A college conference wants four, since the 4:3 face suits a technical slide deck. Three is the general-purpose choice for a hall event where the content is still being decided. The summer festival is largely an outdoor affair, and that changes the equipment rather than the width. Under cover, at an entrance or an information point, an indoor panel is fine. Standing in the open street it is not, because it has no rain protection — there the answer is a sealed outdoor cabinet, P2.5 for close viewing or P3 for a larger face, priced for the event.

A shorter drive changes the comparison
At 279 EUR our transport line here is among the lowest on this site, which makes the usual advice less clear-cut. Zagreb suppliers are closer, but not by as much as in most Croatian cities, and on a three or five panel booking the gap narrows further. Where we are unambiguously the right call is on multi-day hires, where the two journeys spread across the whole period, and on events that a Križevci organisation holds in Hungary. Given how close the border is, that second case turns up regularly rather than occasionally.
