Kaštela is not one town but seven settlements strung along the bay between Split and Trogir, each with its own castle core and waterfront, and together forming one of the larger urban areas in Dalmatia. Split Airport sits within its boundaries, which gives the area a business character quite separate from its tourist one: aviation services, logistics and hotel operations, with conference capacity in the hotels along the bay that fills in spring and autumn. The summer programme is dispersed across the seven cores, using the castle courtyards and the seafront promenades. Venues are therefore small, numerous and mostly historic, and vehicle access to a castle courtyard is generally limited to a delivery window agreed in advance. A single panel for one day here totals about 770 EUR net, and 695 EUR of it never appears on the screen. Split is minutes away and has rental companies of its own, so for a one-evening job with one surface they will be cheaper. That is the honest position and we would rather set it out than defend an awkward offer later. The bookings that suit us are longer ones, larger ones, and any event a Kaštela company holds in Hungary, where the same panels arrive with the transport line reduced to a fraction of this figure.
Delivering into a castle courtyard
Access agreed before the quote, not after
The route from Győr is roughly eight hours each way, entirely inside Schengen and entirely in euro territory, so neither customs nor currency has to be worked around. What does need working out is the final approach. Seven historic cores means seven sets of access rules, and a courtyard or a promenade position usually has a fixed delivery window. We settle that with the venue before quoting. Because a panel is carried by two people rather than wheeled off a truck, the last stretch on foot is a practical matter rather than an obstacle, which is not true of a truss-based system.

The indoor family also holds a tighter P1.5, for a screen read from half a metre at a stand or a tasting, and a wider P2.5 for large rooms where nobody approaches the surface. Each stands on its own feet, needs no rigging of any kind, and draws from an ordinary mains socket. For a position with the sky above it — a castle courtyard, a promenade, a hotel terrace — the two outdoor versions take over. They are cabinet-built and sealed, at P2.5 and P3, and they are hired rather than only manufactured, which is worth saying because the seven cores of Kaštela put most of their summer programme out of doors. We bring the panels and feet, the player and the controller; we build the set, set the picture, hand over to your people and return at the end of the hire to remove it.
